The business is structured into three divisions—Design, Contracts, and Maintenance—and includes two associated utilities-focused companies: Easy Energy Ltd and Wireless Metering NZ Ltd. Our governance board, Envirogroup Holdings Ltd provides strategic oversight and guidance to our management team.

Our motivated and experienced team provide trade and engineering support for clients from our office/workshop bases in:

ALLAN DAVIDSON

Managing Director

Taking over his father’s directorship in 1999, Allan’s has over 40 years’ experience in providing Building Services Engineering for the utilities and building services industry includes large commercial and industrial buildings, medical facilities and laboratories, and the maritime sector. He provides technical oversight of consulting projects, business case and risk mitigation analysis, and specialist services to the industry around NZBC and BWoF compliance. Allan maintains key relationships, assesses emerging technologies, provides risk assessments to improve value to clients, and mentors staff development. When not working Allan enjoys down time with his family, spear fishing and marine related activities being his favourite pastimes.

JENNY HOLLANDS

Manager - Wellington and Auckland

Jenny coordinates the day-to-day business management of our Wellington and Auckland branches and manages business financials for both regions. With a talent for business administration and a knack for juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment, Jenny is a vital part of our team.
Her dedication and leadership have been recognised through her career progression from part-time Administration Assistant in 2014, to Operations Manager in 2017, and Wellington Manager in 2018.
Outside of work, Jenny is a proud mum to three sons and loves spending time with her husband on their lifestyle block, traveling and embracing the outdoors.

JAMES OORTGIESEN

Operations - Auckland

James joined our Auckland team in 2018 and has demonstrated exceptional trade skills as he nears the completion of his Plumbing, Gas fitting and Drain laying apprenticeship. An excellent communicator and a natural leader, James’s diligence and commitment to his clients ensured is progression to our Auckland Operations Management role, a key interface between our clients, trades service teams and engineering design services teams. James enjoys heading away for weekends with his mates exploring New Zealand, and with our Wellington branch, has been able to take advantage of exploring the lower regions of the North Island.

CONNOR DAVIDSON

Engineer

Connor worked part time for Envirogroup over 4 years, from labouring with our plumping teams to assisting with business administration before leaving to complete his University education in Engineering, graduating at Auckland University of Technology with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After nearly a year with Watercare assisting with water treatment plant management and maintenance projects, Connor returned to us in a full-time role to further his industry knowledge in our downstream network sector. Adopting new ideas and solutions is key to improving our services and Connor now operates within our engineering design team, assisting Envirogroup to meet our focus in delivering efficient and reliable Hydraulic and HVAC service installations, while quality managing delivery of our long-term maintenance plans for our customers. A 3rd generation family employee, Connor continues the legacy of his Grandfather, bringing youthful enthusiasm and technical support to our team. Like many others in our team, Connor loves being on and under the sea.
