Envirogroup consists of three divisions — Design, Contracts, and Maintenance — with two associated utilities-related businesses, Easy Energy Ltd and Wireless Metering NZ Ltd. Our governance board, chaired by family member and Professional Director, Bruce Davidson LLB, NP, Fellow NZID, provides oversight and direction to our management team.

Our motivated and experienced team provide trade and engineering support for clients from our office/workshop bases in:

ALLAN DAVIDSON

Managing Director

Taking over his father’s directorship in 1999, Allan’s has over 40 years’ experience in providing Building Services Engineering for the utilities and building services industry includes large commercial and industrial buildings, medical facilities and laboratories, and the maritime sector. He provides technical oversight of consulting projects, business case and risk mitigation analysis, and specialist services to the industry around NZBC and BWoF compliance. Allan maintains key relationships, assesses emerging technologies, provides risk assessments to improve value to clients, and mentors staff development. When not working Allan enjoys down time with his family, spear fishing and marine related activities being his favourite pastimes.

BRENT WILLIAMS

Group General Manager

MBA (University of Auckland)

Brent is an MBA-qualified managing director and former shareholder of one of the 3 largest NZ body corporate management company. With a wide-ranging experience from owning a successful HR practice and managing a body corporate management company, Brent’s brings focus on organisational structure and learning, systems thinking, and leadership, ensures high quality governance for Envirogroup. His skills result in optimised service delivery, innovative problem-solving, thoughtful change management, and thorough strategic and business planning. When not focused on our needs, Brent provides mentoring for less fortunate, and as a talented guitar player and singer, he enjoys entertaining, either playing solo or with friends.

JENNY HOLLANDS

Manager - Wellington and Auckland

Jenny co-ordinates day-to-day business in Wellington and Auckland and provides financial management for our Auckland and Wellington operations. With skills in business administration, and her ability to multi-task in a busy environment, Jenny is an indispensable part of our team. Management recognition of these skills ensured Jenny’s promotion from part-time admin assistant in 2014, and Operations Manager in 2017, to Wellington Manager in 2018. Jenny has three teenage sons who keep her busy out of work hours and she enjoys hiking, gardening, home renovation and craft beers.

ANDREW MCARTHUR

Contracts Manager Wellington

Andy connects our tradesmen and clients. He makes sure we deliver projects in a timely manner minimising impact to stakeholders and provides effective communication between parties.

Andrew joined his father working for Envirogroup in the 1990s. Starting in HVAC services, Andy has also managed our painting division and has over 22 years’ industry experience with skills covering plumbing, building maintenance, and team management.

Tony Hall

Senior Project Manager

Originally starting at Envirogroup in 1989 as our Project Manager, as a Fitter and Turner by trade, Tony’s engineering skills made him well suited to quality managing delivery of many large air conditioning, heating and plumbing projects, looking after a trades team of over 25 employees. A career change saw Tony with Fletcher Construction for 13 years as their Building Services Manager, then Project Management roles in several other construction engineering sector companies as well as managing his own retail business for 4 years. 23 years later in 2022, Tony re-joins the Envirogroup team as our Senior Project Manager. When not managing Envirogroup’s large project deliverables, and H&S and QA procedures, Tony enjoys fishing, exploring NZ in his camper van and cruising in his Dodge Challenger.

JAMES OORTGIESEN

Operations - Auckland

James joined our Auckland team in 2018 and has demonstrated exceptional trade skills as he nears the completion of his Plumbing, Gas fitting and Drain laying apprenticeship. An excellent communicator and a natural leader, James’s diligence and commitment to his clients ensured is progression to our Auckland Operations Management role, a key interface between our clients, trades service teams and engineering design services teams. James enjoys heading away for weekends with his mates exploring New Zealand, and with our Wellington branch, has been able to take advantage of exploring the lower regions of the North Island.

BRANDON LE GROS

Operations Support - Auckland

We worked with Brandon for 4 years while employed with one of Auckland's leading Body Corporate building managers, Brandon was looking for a career change he joined our Auckland team in 2022, bringing his excellent building operations management experience as well as familiarity with many of our customers and staff. Brandon has significant apartment building services experience from working with us so has an understanding of our various technical services and our Body Corporate client base needs. Brandon assists with our project programming, key customer relationships and marketing initiatives. Outside of work Brandon enjoys getting away in his car, camping and spending time with family and friends.
