MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

Some of the buildings we maintain include: Avida Bar, Featherston Bar and Leuven Belgian Beer Café (Wellington) – Contracted by Wellington businessman Russell Scott, Envirogroup was required to design and build air conditioning and kitchen ventilation systems as well as provide plumbing and gasfitting refurbishment for these three inner city bars.

ARATERE

In 2009 Envirogroup was engaged by Interislander, a division of Kiwi Rail Ltd., to provide a design brief and budget for the ventilation and air conditioning system to a new 30-meter middle section proposed for the Aratere rail ferry. When the hull extension project was approved in early 2010, Envirogroup was engaged to provide a detailed HVAC design with specifications and drawings as part of the Interislander’s shipyard tender process.

DEVON PARK

In January 2010 Envirogroup completed a design-built installation of the largest residential apartment DHW solar system in NZ. Devon Park Apartments in Auckland consists of 57 apartment units within a 13-storey tower with adjoining 2-level townhouses. In 2007 Envirogroup designed and installed a replacement for the property’s old, inefficient and failing centralised, gas-fired domestic hot water system. When the opportunity arose to apply for an EECA fund, we conveyed our concept to this body corporate of complementing this system with solar hot water panels.

TRANSPACIFIC

Acting as consultant to design and project manage a solvent combustion process, including liaising with all regulatory authorities to obtain fuel classification and consents, provision of tender specification and drawing, overseeing installation and commissioning. We provided a design solution to ensure that the clients Kawau waste treatment plant maintenance facility was compliant with the current Codes.
